What to write to us about
[Correction] — factual errors
If you spotted a number, rate, threshold, or claim on finbarrow that is wrong, please write to us. Include the page URL, the specific sentence or figure, what you believe is correct, and a primary-source link if possible (CFPB, FDIC, FRB, IRS, FICO, FINRA, SEC, NCUA, issuer site). We aim to verify and either correct or rebut within two business days, and we log every correction with a dated note at the foot of the article. Our full correction policy is in the editorial policy.
[Reviewer] — CFP / CPA / attorney applications
finbarrow partners with US-licensed Certified Financial Planners, Certified Public Accountants, and attorneys as named reviewers on tax-, credit-, and fiduciary-sensitive articles. Reviewers are paid per piece. If you hold an active US license and want to be considered, send us your credentials (license number, certifying body, jurisdiction), your areas of practice, and your fee. We will reply with current openings and rates.
[Tip] — story tips and leads
If a US issuer, broker, bank, or fintech is doing something unusual — predatory fee structure, misleading APY marketing, a hidden product change buried in a TOS update — we want to know. Send what you know, with documentation if you have it. We will not name a source without permission.
[Press] — media inquiries
Quote requests, interview requests, and press background are all welcome. Please include the publication, the angle, and your deadline. Cristian is available for comment on US personal finance topics within the scope of finbarrow's coverage.
[Partnership] — advertising and affiliate relationships
Issuers, banks, brokers, and personal finance fintechs interested in advertising or affiliate placement should email with [Partnership] in the subject. Note that finbarrow does not publish sponsored editorial. Display advertising and affiliate commissions never influence rankings — see our funding disclosures for how we handle this.
Response times
We aim to respond within two US business days. Corrections are usually faster — within one business day. We do not publish forms or live chat; both invite spam and tend to create false expectations of real-time response from a small editorial team.
What we will not respond to
- Requests for personalized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice — see disclaimers.
- Generic outreach for guest posts, link insertions, or paid backlinks.
- Mass-mailed press releases unrelated to US personal finance.
Mailing address
finbarrow is operated from Spain by Cristian Corrales as an independent publication. For formal correspondence (legal service, GDPR/CCPA requests, etc.), use the email above and we will provide the appropriate address by reply.
Educational content only. finbarrow is an independent editorial publication, not a licensed financial advisor, broker, tax preparer, or attorney. Always verify rates, terms, and eligibility with the issuer or a licensed professional before acting. See disclaimers and funding disclosures for details.
